Ideamarket is a platform that uses markets to create trusted information without relying on media corporations. Its crowdsourced data can be used to curate social media feeds based on market confidence, instead of centralized fact-checking. The platform's governance and utility token, $IMO, was launched in February 2022, with 100 million tokens created at genesis. The platform has reserved portions of the tokens for the team, strategic partnerships, early investors, ecosystem and treasury, and community rewards programs, including a retroactive airdrop. Ideamarket's founder is Mike Elias, and its smart contracts were written by Alexander Schlindwein. The token is available on SushiSwap on Arbitrum.
